Sarah Anne Chacko, MD

sarah chacko, md: our newest team member, already has her own fan club!
Sarah is an experienced, board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist.  Since finishing her residency, Sarah has been working on faculty at the New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell Campus.  Suddenly she and her husband found themselves parents of three small children in a short time.  Like many of us, Dr. Chacko felt the pull of motherhood make her look at her future career path.

She decided to look to work in the suburbs closer to her new Westchester home.  Her goal was to continue her hard work, with the highest standards, with supportive colleagues, closer to her family, should her children need her. An investigational call to an old friend led to the exciting possibility that she might work with us in Westchester.

Timing is everything, and thanks to word of mouth from our supportive patients, and support from our colleagues, mcgroaryandmalley is growing quickly. We  realized our need for help from someone we trusted; one with a similar mindset, empathy, bedside manner and ability. Rather than let our patients deal with long wait times for appointments, we were grateful for the chain of events that allowed us to hire Dr. Chacko.

Starting in February, Dr. Chacko began seeing gynecology patients, in both our Yorktown and Katonah offices.  Like Dr. Malley, she has a special interest in women's preventive healthcare and has special experience in adolescent gynecology.  We hope you will agree that she will round out our team in the best possible way.

Dr. Malley can vouch for Sarah personally, having been one of her faculty members during her residency at The New York Presbyterian, Cornell campus.  Sarah's reputation is that of a warm-hearted, bright, creative physician, who will make you laugh during the most difficult conversations.
